Privacy
Hosanna Road is made for kids 7 to 14, so we built it to collect nothing personal. This page covers the Hosanna Road app and this website.
Nothing personal leaves the device
- There are no accounts, sign-ins, ads or chat.
- Players’ names, their progress and their time played are saved only on the device. Names never leave it.
- We don’t use analytics or advertising tools, and we never sell or share anything about you or your children.
The only things that are sent
Two features send anything, and only when you tap to use them.
- Report a bug sends what you type, where you are in the game, details about the game and the device (such as the model, system version, screen size and frame rate) and recent error messages. If the box is ticked, it also sends a picture of the game scene. Any player name is removed before sending, and names never appear in the picture. Reports are kept on our server, where only we can read them, and are deleted after 90 days.
- Move a journey sends one player’s game progress, with the picture and color chosen for them, so you can carry it to another device. Their name is never sent. The code works once and is deleted when it’s used, or after 24 hours.
The bug report form on this website also asks for an email address. It’s optional and only used to reply to you.
Tips
- In the app, tips are paid through your Apple Account. Apple handles the payment, and we never see your card or who you are. A monthly tip renews each month until you cancel it in Settings, under your Apple Account’s Subscriptions.
- On this website, support is paid through Stripe, which handles the payment. We only see what you enter there, such as your email address, as a record of your gift.
- Tips are a thank-you and don’t unlock anything in the game.
This website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare and loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Like any website, they see your device’s internet address when a page loads. The bug report form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it’s a person, not a robot. We don’t use tracking cookies.
Children
We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. The parts of the app meant for parents, such as tips, sit behind a question only a grown-up should answer. If a child sent us something personal, such as a name typed into a bug report, write to us and we’ll delete it.
Questions
Hosanna Road is made by Fox & Brand, LLC. Write to us at hello@foxandbrand.com with any question, or to ask us to delete anything you’ve sent. If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date below.
