Hosanna means “save us.” The crowds shouted it as Jesus rode down the Mount of Olives into Jerusalem. That road is where his journey led, and the same mountain is where it ends, as he is taken up into heaven.

Step inside the Gospel story

Twenty-five chapters follow Jesus' life in order, from the angel's visit to Mary to the Ascension. You play the people who were there: a shepherd, a wise man, Joseph, Simon of Cyrene, Mary Magdalene, and Jesus himself.

The real words, spoken aloud

Every line comes straight from the Gospels in the World English Bible, with the verse shown on screen. Each person has their own voice, and the story keeps moving while you walk and listen.

An open world to explore

Roam a bigger map of the Holy Land: Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Jordan River, the shores of Galilee, Jericho, Mount Tabor and the crowded streets of Jerusalem, plus towns the Gospels name like Magdala, Bethsaida, Nain, Chorazin and Emmaus. Take on jobs from the Bible for bronze, silver or gold, find hidden treasures from the Gospels, ride a donkey, sail and fish on the sea. The open world opens after Chapter 1, and more of the land opens as you play.

Bring the flock home, cast the net, fill the water pots, bail out the boat in the storm and gather the leftover pieces. Short, fun and never a fail screen.

Why we made this

Let the little children come

“Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.”Mark 10:14

The story of Jesus is the greatest story ever told. We made Hosanna Road™ so kids could step inside it.

Children spend hours exploring worlds that aren’t real. We wanted to give them one that is: to stand in the fields when the sky fills with angels, to ride into Jerusalem as the crowd shouts “Hosanna!”, and to hear Jesus say “Peace! Be still!” over a storm on the Sea of Galilee.

Every line of scripture in the game is the real thing, word for word from the Gospels. So when a child puts the game down and opens a Bible, the same words are waiting for them, and they already know where they were spoken.

Our prayer is simple: that every child who plays doesn’t just learn about Jesus, but comes to love him. That’s why it’s free for every family, and why we’ll keep building it.
